Navy Veteran. Philosopher. Entrepreneur. Author.
Travis DiPerna
Storyteller & Creator
I’ve spent my life chasing stories—first capturing them through a camera lens,
then studying the ideas that make them meaningful, and now creating worlds
that readers can step inside.
The Long Way to Storytelling
My path to becoming an author wasn’t a straight line—it was a winding road through
military service, philosophy, tech startups, and entrepreneurship. Each chapter
taught me something essential about people, meaning, and the stories we tell ourselves.
I started as a photojournalist in the U.S. Navy, trained at the Defense Information School (DINFOS),
where I learned that every image tells a story and every story carries weight.
That experience shaped how I think about narrative—visually, viscerally, and with purpose.
After the Navy, I pursued a degree in Philosophy at Arizona State University.
Four years of studying ethics, epistemology, and the human condition gave me the
intellectual foundation I bring to my fiction: stories should mean something.

What I’m Building Now
Today, I write fantasy fiction and run Everlore Hollow—an immersive
subscription experience that delivers serialized stories alongside handcrafted candles,
apothecary teas, and mysterious artifacts.
I’m also working on Echoes of the Crucible, a fantasy series exploring
memory, power, and the price of truth through an intricate magic system
and characters who feel like old friends.
Everything I’ve done—the military discipline, the philosophical rigor, the marketing craft,
the entrepreneur’s grit—comes together in this work. I create stories meant to be
felt, not just read.
